Using techniques such as the Pepper’s Ghost illusion, the work bridges ancient storytelling traditions with contemporary technology, inviting reflection on transformation, identity, and the fragile boundaries between pleasure and pain, beauty and the grotesque.
Soft drapings, deep red and magenta lighting, and handcrafted fabric vines create a surreal space that echoes the emotional landscape of Last Call.

The Locker Room
The snake has long operated as a symbolic site of projection—across religions, cultures, and disciplines. It is at once feared and revered, associated with knowledge and deceit, rebirth and temptation, healing and danger. Its meaning is unstable by nature: always shifting, always shedding.
This exhibition brings together artists exploring the serpent’s entanglement with power, pleasure, and survival through feminist, queer, and mythological frameworks. Snake Summer asks what it means to live with icons that refuse resolution—and what happens when we follow them into the heat.
